Overall Successes
I really enjoyed news days throughout the entire three years of my course, but especially as a third year. I personally believe this was because of the variety of jobs roles I was given the opportunity to partake in.

My Improvement Analysis
My improvements would be to push myself even further than I did during news days because that way, I'd get the most out of them to prepare myself for the industry further. This became especially apparent to me after completing work experience in real news rooms, when I got to see first-hand how similar our news days are to those at the BBC/ITV etc.
General Thoughts
News days to me became more and more useful over the three years of my course. I soon realised it was a place where I could have a go and make errors at everything if I had to, rather than making them when doing the job for real in the industry. The skills I've learnt such as voice training and using the software INEWS will also benefit me in the future.
